The Confederation of Indian Industry through the CII – Suresh Neotia Centre of Excellence for Leadership will provide the following professional certification training courses for students with the help of top media professionals and senior journalists in the year 2010.
These Courses will equip students by developing skills to enter these professions:-
- Six Month Part time Certification Course on Electronic Media Management
- Conducted by top electronic media industry professionals.
- Focus on the operational and production aspects of the electronic media.
- Conducted through a combination of lectures, demonstration, in-class hands-on production, exposure to electronic media channels etc.
- Each student also produces a series of prerecorded news projects, shot both single and multi-camera and edited on Final-Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere.
- Students are also trained in graphic design using QuarK Xpress, Adobe in design and Adobe Photoshop.
- Six Month Part time Certificate Course on Financial Journalism
- Course conducted by senior journalists of the Financial Journalists Club (FJC).
- It would help to train those planning to specialize in financial journalism through developing writing and speaking styles of the candidates, including interviewing techniques as well as equip students with in depth exposure to the economy.
- The course will have a wide coverage providing exposure to the industrial and services sectors, corporate houses legal issues, international trade and agreements.
- Exposure to the functioning of the capital and commodity markets.
