CII promoted the concept of Centres of Excellence in order to provide specialised services to industry and society.

The main objectives of establishing the Centre are to provide education, training and consultancy:

For developing and enhancing leadership through people
For upgradation of change management skills
For enhancement of quality and effectiveness of business processes for achieving business excellence in collaboration with other Institutions and Centres of Excellence of CII.
To promote and facilitate entrepreneurship development in collaboration with Government, academic institutions and financial institutions
